The Curacao Dialysis Center is located
in the Jacob Gelt Dekker Institute Building and is part of the “Kura
Hulanda Project“. The Kura Hulanda Project consists of the
Curacao Dialysis Center along with the 5 star Hotel
Kura Hulanda Spa and Casino (member of Leading Small Hotels
of the World) , and the world acclaimed Museum
Kura Hulanda, all part of the UNESCO World Heritage Historical
Association. The Curacao Dialysis Center is located in a beautifully
restored 18th century colonial style building with all the modern
amenities overlooking the St. Anna Bay and downtown Willemstad –
a colorful row of Dutch colonial inspired buildings of Handelskade,
along with the famous Queen Emma floating bridge. Walking distance
to several restaurants, shops, craft stores and museums all located
minutes away.
All patients will utilize our leather sleeper chairs with personal
flat screen TVs and wireless Internet while being treated. Currently
we have 10 stations and three shifts per day. Of course, safety
comes first, and the Curacao Dialysis Center wastes nothing in ensuring
the facility is state of the art, as everything from the needles
to the hoses are disposable, there are separate rooms for infectious
vs, non-infectious patients and even the trash bins have a special
sanitizing mechanism.
